More Cats

Katrina was a stray cat that came with the house we bought in 1999. After about a year, she started hanging around our house all the time so we put a collar on her to see if anyone owned her. The collar stayed on and she has been here ever since. We later found out that she was owned by an elderly woman that lived down the street and the woman had passed away around the time she started hanging out at our house full time. She is kind of a cranky, old lady and we love her very much.

Melvin was an orphan kitten that was rescued by a friend of mine. He was born with hydrocephalus (water on the brain) which has caused him to be mentally challenged. She raised him until he was 6 months old, but he was torturing her older cat so she needed to find him a home. Because of his mental issues he doesn't know how to play like a normal kitten. He is a nightmare of medical problems, but has the sweetest and most endearing personality of any cat you could ever hope to meet. He is in LOVE with Katrina who HATES him, that is why he is sporting the high fashion "Doggles" to protect his eyes from her retribution!

I often have the pleasure of raising orphan kittens. I have raised many kittens over the years and have placed them in new homes. I am eternally grateful to the new owners that take in my babies and make them members of the family. If I ever had to name a dream job, it would be to raise babies forever! Here are a few of my most recent charges:
